Biography
Dr Daniela VINTILA is Co-Coordinator of IMISCOE (International Migration Research Network) and Associate Professor at the Centre for Ethnic and Migration Studies (CEDEM) of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Liège. She also serves as Chair of the Standing Group Migration and Ethnicity of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR). She holds a PhD in Political Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has previously held research positions at the University of Leicester (UK) and the Spanish National Research Council (Spain). Her interests lie, especially, in the areas of migration and integration policies, EU citizenship, political participation and representation, and social protection. Her recent work has been published in journals such as European Political Science, American Behavioral Scientist, Politics and Governance, International Migration, and Journal of Immigrant & Refugee Studies. She has also taught a wide range of courses and delivered lectures in English, French, and Spanish across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, Romania, and China.
