ith its 17 professors and lecturers, and some forty senior lecturers, the Faculty of Social Sciences offers top-quality training.

With around 800 students, the Faculty remains a human-scale structure.

The FaSS has built its teaching around five main disciplines: sociology, anthropology, labor sciences, human resources management and development cooperation.

The unique Bachelor in Human and Social Sciences enables students to approach each of these five disciplines and gradually move towards one of them.

The FaSS offers 9 different masters programs, including 3 co-organized with other institutions (HEPL, HEC, UNIC network).

It relies on strong links between its courses and research, promoting the learning of a scientific method and drawing resources from its research units.

The Faculty is open to the international scene, offering language courses and study stays abroad. Some courses are taught in English , and a master's degree in Sociology, focusing on Migration Studies, is organized entirely in English.

Graduates in the social sciences have access to a wide range of career opportunities : public authorities, associations, teaching, the private sector and research.
